One-off, non-repayable grants · England and Wales

The Flexible Fund is a Home Office fund, administered by Women's Aid, giving one-off grants to survivors of domestic abuse in England and Wales. A new round reopened on 14 July 2026 and runs monthly — but funding each month is limited and closes once that month's grants are allocated.

There are two grants:

• Flee Fund — up to £500 to help someone leave, or stay safely in their home (essentials like food, clothing, transport, emergency accommodation).

• Future Fund — up to £2,500 to help rebuild afterwards (rent deposits, furnishings, dealing with debt, security measures, courses).

You cannot apply directly. Applications are made on your behalf by a specialist domestic abuse service — a Women's Aid member service, or another organisation listed on Routes to Support. If you're not already working with a service, you can find one through the Women's Aid directory. A grant is never guaranteed even if you meet the criteria, because monthly funding is limited.

Open to survivors aged 16+, including male survivors and those with No Recourse to Public Funds.
